I would assume that a meth backfire would be similar to a NOS backfire?

That's pretty crazy, and it does look like something was blowing out.

It's something wrong with your throttle body, a component on your throttle body or the cable.

My old 2G had a problem where the idle speed controller used to try to overcompensate by opening the throttle plate when it'd malfunction and it'd do the same thing.

To all you who think this was a "defective manifold" Read my posts in this thread, study it and lock it in your minds. You will all be smarter.

Yea actually I have heard alot of people have blown there magnus intake manifolds. So I dont think it is a particular defective manifold. I think it is just all of them.

Slamming a manufacturer with only 13 posts strikes me as bad form.

I've seen COUNTLESS Magnus manifolds in the DSM scene that have never had this problem. Meth backfires cause damage to componenets, no doubt about it but slandering a product because it didn't hold up to a backfire is just senseless.

The product didn't break, the customer broke the product.

If you blow your engine due to excessive knock, you wouldn't blame the engine right? You'd blame the tuner. Figure it out.
