**** Car revvs by itself HELP *****

Ok so yesterday i finally get my car back and was driving at night and something went wrong...First off its a 2.3 with 35r made 540whp @27psi pump and alky. Last night i did a hwy pull and it felt like a bad fuel cut but dont really think thats what it was. I got off the exit and and put it in neutral and all the sudden it starts revving as if im flooring it so i shut the car off. Pull on the side and tried turning the car back on and starts as if im flooring it.

Anyone know what could be the problem? Help would be greatly apprieciated.

P.S. the car has a magnus intake manifold if that helps.

All that money invested and such a small issue is bringing it all down.

Its definetly not the accelerator cable. The car was turned off and I checked the cable, that was obviously the first thing I checked for. I had someone press the gas pedal and the cable still is working.

AEM or stock ECU?

Well its not a boost leak, i was hitting boost just fine. It possibly could be a vacum leak on the intake manifold but even if it was it shouldnt rev all the way till i hit the rev limiter and keep bouncing off of it. IF there was a vacum leak then it should just idle higher not shoot up to the rev limiter.

It just goes all the way to the rev limiter and just keeps bouncing off of it but of course i turned the car off as soon as that happened. Also the car has a aem ems that just got tuned.

sounds like it could be a leak after the TB. Check your manifold for any broken welds.

My friend had a small weld blow out on his manifold with an AEM, and the car would rev to 4 - 4,500 rpm . maybe yours is bigger? worth a check.
