FPgreen VS 57trim

Anyone had these 2 looked at side by side im in the market "THIS WEEKEND" to buy a new setup the stock 9 turbo just isnt doing it for me. And i want a good Pumpgas turbo thats is good at the track (1/4th only) as well on the street. I've already rulled out the bigger turbo's because im only going to be on 24psi not meth/alky for now. stock block btw. I just need to know which one will be better for me in the 1/4th all around.

57trim should give you better #s on pump gas...flows a bit more. Then down the road it will have more potential on race gas or meth.

Everyone will say the green though.

57 for sure, from the looks of the different kits, ets looks like a winner to me

I got the ETS 57 trim and on pump gas 92 octane with moderate timing and A/F, we got 402 whp on 24 psi. The car is awesome to drive. The turbo is actually a real shiner when using pump and meth or race gas.

I would say that is has more to due with how much money you want to spend vs. what the overall benefit is of going with the 57 trim over the Green. You'll end up spending almost $2000 more for the 57 trim as compared to purchasing a Green, and in the end both are capable of producing the same amount of whp on pump gas. The nice thing though about the ETS kit is that you can upgrade to a larger turbo down the road if you want.

Bringing this back...im in this same position...like the OP said im also trying to keep this a nice street turbo..93 octane and around 23 psi. if the 57 trim does around 400whp the green would do that too with a lot better spool...yea the 57 trim will kill the green with meth or race gas but as a street turbo i think the green sounds better...im prob gonna be purchaseing a green (and hope i dont wanna go bigger)

I'm sorry but the gains that you will see on pump gas with the green turbo, in my opinion, will not compromise the cost that you will pay for the turbo. You will end up paying X amount of dollars for the green and not see amazing gains on 23psi and pump gas. Not worth the turbo swap in my opinion.

but for someone who is trying to keep it 23 psi pump gas im pretty sure the green would be the best bet. I know its not gonna be crazy gains but it would prob be the best gains and spool for staying on pump at 23 psi.

sending in your ix turbo to buschur make it the 20g-lt...is that exactly like purchaseing a fpgreen...does it have the same power potential and what not?

Yes, that IS EXACTLY what a FPGreen is. I wouldn't discount the fact that FP may have a FPRed sometime soon. It would be great if it also bolts up to the stock manifold. Wonder how that would line up with the ETS turbos?
