we are thinking to put this engine into a toyota corolla 1.8 1982.we use them a lot to drag here in Puerto Rico, there are one already running 8.34 with a 3sgte with near 900hp , fullbody, liberty trans with only 26x8 slicks,im already running low 6"s in the 1/8mile so should be high 9"s in the quarter with only 490hp in the 1.8 3tc engine and stock toyota trans, want to make some competition to this guys with 3sgte.we alreay have an evo8 with 553hp at pump and W/M inj tuned and built be me,so i really love this engines and know their potential.thinking to go with the GSC2 that are well proven.how much boost your running for this HP levels?

If max power is your game ditch these little cams. The piper drag cams have nice duration but little lift. You need something in the .485+ lift on the intake. . Also the exhaust should be smaller then the intake. There is a reason why the fastest 4g63 in the world run them this way. The fastest 4g63 uses .490+ lift on the intake. If you need to know where to get a hold of some nice cams state side pm me.
