Buschur's New Duel Stage Boost Controller is better than.............
#47
Yeah, I'm going to be all over it... I mean, they got my head, my block, my fuel pump, my intake mani, my TB, and I got everything else from them, so why not the MBC... I had their 1st one, but it went bad on me and I couldn't adjust the boost, after the plastic thing broke on me
I bought the Greddy because they didn't have the dual stage out yet and I needed something to control my pump gas (low) and Meth (high) without me having to get out of the car... But looking at this thing, I'm really excited about it... I just got to get the car back together...

Wow.
LilRico: What you just described is exactly how I'm currently controlling boost.
I had the Greddy Profec B Spec II before my visit to BR at which the Greddy was disconnected and replaced with the previous generation BR MBC.
I liked the BR MBC a lot since it was simple to use.........
But I got tired of having to adjust the boost for pump gas and meth so I reconnected the Greddy.
Now with this new boost controller coming out the Greddy might see the FS section soon.
BTW that switch for low/high boost reminds me of something you'd see on a fighter jet .

Also about it looking like a fighter jet, I thought the same... looks like the one on Independence day "Eagle one box 2.. Fireeeeeee"

OK, here's a picture of the dual stage boost controller. It is not bolted in the car but this is the complete kit.
The switch is mounted inside the car. In the off position (cover closed) you run on low boost and of course with it on is high boost.
The controller itself has two boost controllers on it. When on low the boost controller directly inline with the solenoid is working, when on high the boost controller on the left works.
The empty port on the right side of the solenoid is the boost in source from the intake manifold.
The bracket was specially cut/made to mount the boost controller on the passenger side to a bracket that is on the strut tower. The bracket holds one of the a/c lines in place, this just goes under the a/c line and bolts in.
Out of the bottom of the boost controls you will see an empty port on the end of the wye. This single line simply runs to the wastegate.
Enjoy.

Dang nab it that is sweet! How much does it cost? I'm guessing at least $500??

David, does this boost controller allow you to reach 50 psi of boost. Right know I only can push 42psi from my greddy boost control. I'm looking for something that I can come off from the line at low boost(20-21psi) and then switch to high boost (50+psi).

Nice BC..
You think this strategy could produce or help in a nice 1/4 mile pass..??

I'm wondering the same thing too... With the power he's making, I'm hoping he's on a stand alone that can control boost and doesn't require a flick of a switch during a drag pass. I'm pretty sure that when the Buschur cars run on the track, they're not switching anything that isn't a gear......

That's a very reasonable price for what you get with this setup. It would cost more than that to piece one together yourself not counting the time that it would take you.

Thanks drb, some of the parts are nearly impossible to find. The selonoid took us about 7 weeks to get, they had to be custom built by Parker. The wye at the end of the boost controllers is SS, also tough to find/get your hands on.
