I thought it was common knowledge that you see quicker spool times from the porting/gasket matching of the hotside.

on the compressor side I don't think it makes much difference. the only thing I would worry about now is crushing that cast aluminum housing with too much torque on the t-bolt clamp.

If it's FR and Head Games approved, im good with it. Great job! When the HTA37R comes out, ill be calling for a port job to be done on it.

I know where your comming from on this, but those T-bolt clamps are equal pressure. I dont thing you could crush it if you tried. I think you would probably end up breaking the clamp first.

if u guys are putting that much torque on those t-bolt clamps where u think u could possibly crush the AL housing, u have issues.

The only reason I mentioned it was because I've bent some aluminum IC piping with t-bolt clamps before.

well, if we are talking about the compressor housing, the integrity could be an issue, as you could put a hole in it and have to weld it. And as I stated earlier, we are very much into velocity and that could be compromised when making something to large. The head is the same way...sometimes something that looks good, big, or flows well at high lift, will run like a dog with flees at the track. Bigger is not always better.

AMS and HeadGames thanks you!

We would have to make it super thin and you would have to resemble the incredible hulk.

I don't know what a 10.5 turbo is but I will answer the rest by saying..Jesus could bring us a cast iron manifold and we wouldn't touch it..we don't do anymore cast iron then what you seen here. If you don't want to go with a different turbo, a tubular manifold from AMS or Full-Race would do you good.

Ok, I've just got of the phone with Robert Yang from Force Performance, the legendary man which designed and making with he's hands the legendary
Evogreen and the HTA35R Turbos, and that's what Robert Yang told me:
"No downside doing that, no way you killed your Turbo, you should have some improvement"
I was discussing with Robert the potential benefit of porting, and he believe that if I've upgraded everything around (cams, head, etc. ) that should be one of the last upgrades to push a bit extra, how much extra? That's a good question, so I will let you know...
