Headgames ported my HTA35R you must see it!
David Localio is my man!! He is the owner of HeadGames Motorworks top sportcompact cylinder head shops in the country!
Anyway, I asked David what more can we do to my new HTA35R Turbo? And David didn’t answer me, he just started he’s magic work…..
He started with the stock turbo compressor housing
Scribed the housing with a Titanium 2.125 big block Chevy intake valve
The housing scribed, and you are looking for the line that goes around the inner diameter
He use a high helix carbide burr to grind the material away
The housing ported
Now David "polishing" it with 60 grit and beautified with a 120 grit sanding roll….I love this picture!!
David done the same with the exhaust housing
DONE!!
Ok, what do you think guys, the HTA35R should be an unbelievable Turbo, but with the porting job that Dave from HeadGames done for me, it will be a rocket? I can’t wait any longer that it will come to me…

Is that too much?
I am no-way an expert on this, but can't you go too far with porting and have it hurt peformance.
It seems like he removed a lot of material, so couldn't this now cause more turbulence from the compressor to the intercooler and actually slow the air down?
How much better would this better vs a really good polishing?
