boosting 12psi help!!!!

boosting 12psi help!!!!

well i hook up my boost guage just to see that my evo 8 is boosting 12psi no more no boost spike I T it off were the bov line goes

is 12psi right or did tap the line wrong thanks

Tap off your Fuel Pressure Regulator for your boost gauge and repair the line you cut into.

Don't tap into the regulator line use diverter line only.

There is nothing wrong with tapping the FPR line as long as you zip tie it securely. It is better to see the pressure at the manifold anyway.

Ive honestly seen it done both ways... i dont know which way is the right or wrong way but when i bought my car it was tapped off the the line going to the BOV so i just left it that way

I have mine off the fuel pressure regulator.

lol^^^

Like someone else said i would rather see the PSI thats in the manifold. its better for street tuning and monitoring purposes. more accurate that way.......but hey just my 2 cents

The line to the diverter valve is manifold pressure.
