with the additional fuel needed to accomodate a turbo such as a gt35r, a bigger fuel pump and bigger injectors are needed when the boost levels are raised. Is a tune in the future?

you dont have to upgrade up from a walbro if you have one already. it should flow fine for your 35r IIRC

unfortunately as Mellon found out recently a walbro is at it's limits with a 35r

he had to add a kenne bell boost a pump in order to maintain enough voltage to feed the beast

in my opinion a 35r is where you drawn the line to needing a double pumper or something off the likes

a single walbro 255lph is good for ~500awhp max and will begin to lean out...I reached that at ~27psi @ 7500RPM with the HTA 35R on 93 octane.

Dual pump and of course a fuel management system that you might need for your setup

My tuner called me and said that I need a double pump and fuel regulator with my T4 ETS 35R. 1000cc injectors fully ported head. He said it was sucking the lines dry. The Walbrpo cound't keep up with the turbo and I was only at like 450 HP at 21 lbs.

So I had to get the duel pumpers. sucks cause it was like another $1000 bucks

that ported head must be doing the trick..larger valves too? seems like you'd be able to go higher than 450awhp, maybe the dyno reads low? or maybe he was just doing preventative measures for higher boost later.

the only reason you would need a fuel pressure regulator is if the twin pumps were operating full time... some kits don't activate the 2nd pump until you're into boost and not needing to return so much fuel to the tank.

I'm currently using a kenne bell boost a pump + walbro 255lph to get me to 27psi on the HTA 35R kit

injecting meth means you need less gasoline so you may be fine.

~250 if I remember correctly but it's been a few years. I think there were two versions... a 20 and 40amp or something like that. You want the larger of the two. It's also the same product as the boost a spark basically.

a single supra pump and the BAP was enough for my TT Stealth to make 550awhp on pump gas ~ 22-23psi. The Walbro 255 actually scales better with higher voltage than the Supra pump.

Ya he has my second pump come on at like 18 psi or something I forget actually.

But I am also running AEM meth kti also. So ya it may have been preventive cause I want to push like 28lbs and I was only at 21 lbs and he was unable to finish the tune and then I got into an accident in the car and it has been in the shop for the past 2 months. So when I get it back next wk it is going back to him to tune it again since he didn't finish the first time.

Tom @ ETS said at about 500-530hp the single pump starts to lag on the fuel delivery and then you can run lean and smoke your motor. So for me it was a good thing cause it is either now or when I am broke dick on the side of the road with a blown motor.
