Intercooler piping question

I just recently bought an 05 evo and it has an upgraded TurboXS IC with piping that goes right over the battery tray which is why they moved the battery to the trunk. I don't like it, I want to put the battery back up front because as it sits now maybe its just the wiring job they did but start up is slow. It starts up everytime but slow. Looks like I need new IC piping.

Any suggestions on what to get, I'd like to keep the same IC as far as the research I've been doing it can use factory pipes so I guess the position off the IC is the same as stock.

get the stock intercooler piping,,, there are plenty people in here that have upgraded their piping and are willing to sell it cheap,,,, be practicall and dont waste your money in aftermarket piping

keep the battery in the trunk. You're probably having bad start up issues due to a bad connection. Replace and inspect terminals with gold connectors. You want to keep that heavy battery in the trunk.

Also, seeing that you have the space free, invest in a ETS short route piping kit. Reduction in bends, better airflow.

I mean all that wiring is for the battery relocation is that sufficient shouldnt it better bigger wire for a battery maybe thats why its kind of weak sounding

I would invest in 2gauge wire, i overlooked that. 4 gauge is slightly small for battery relocation. 15-20' of 2gauge red wire + gold connectors.

ETS :

Buschur:

Ets is cheaper and looks like it has a direct shot to the Tb. The buschur seems to have a slight kink.

You could just get a lightweight battery kit. They are designed to work with aftermarket intercooler pipes. If the car is starting slow you may need a battery anyway.
