Radiator Questions - Evo 5/6 radiator into an 05 VIII?

I searched like crazy, but couldn't find a difinitive answer on this..

Is it confirmed that an Evo5/6 Radiator will drop into my 2005 Evo 8?

Was there any other changes to the radiator other than the relocated neck?

Did any of the mounts change at all between years? (Lower pin mounts, upper pin mounts, fan mounts?)

A little more technical question, but would anyone know the pin to pin distance of the lower mounting pins?

I found that the top is 26 3/8" from pin to pin, and I was wanting to verify the bottom one just to make absolute sure before I jump on it.

Thanks todd6027 for your reply.

Bump for any more input....

The Koyo radiator that I am planning on purchasing is this one:

KOY-R030939

It's actually specified for an Evo 4/5/6 1997-2000.

Before I jump, does anyone have any last input on this?

i believe that the distances should be the same but you will need to use the 4/5/6 hoses, I may be able to get you distance measurements for the bottom but it will not be until the end of the day.

from what I have seen the evo 5 radiator will fit, the upper radiator hose should be a straight shot to the thermostat housing

If either mymigi or Yogi B could do that, you guys would be awesome.

My car is at the point now that I need to change the radiator asap. It eats through a coolant overflow bottle in about a day now. Yuck.

Just got off the phone with horsepowerfreaks, and I must add a cheap plug for them.

Damit, I forgot to get the gentlemen's name....

Anyhow, I picked up the Koyo Evo 4/5/6 Radiator they had listed for $389 (Killer price BTW), total was approx. $415 shipped to my door. I should be expecting it at the beginning of next week.

I must say, I give a very big thumbs up to horsepowerfreaks and the gentleman that helped me because I was unsure if the radiator would work 100% with the factory mounting points, so he took the time to pick out a PWR and the Koyo 4/5/6 radiator and line everything up to verify it would work in my 05 VIII.

Horsepowerfreaks took the time to do that for me, which made me pick it up right way, and want to use them in the future!

Big thumbs up to horsepowerfreaks!

Now, I just can't wait for it to show up!

They will fit, no problem. I used a EVO6 radiator all last season. Only thing is the top brackets is not 100% fit but works.

Can ZyBer or maybe tkklemann comment/elaborate on this?
