Ok it seems to get better gas mileage aswell. But my question is I am throwing a "running lean on bank one" code, so should it go away with the stock dp and cat, since i am sort of running more rich?

P0171 system running lean. Not rich. Probably the reason for better gas mileage.
Maf is seeing more air coming in so the fuel trims try to correct each other.
Mine usually come on during prolong idling about 3x/year. I blame my cams.
When did it trigger? idle , cruising, wot.

A lot of poosible causes on a modded evo such as cams, air filter, tune, dirty maf sensor, ect...

What kind of mods?

 

All of my neighbors used to love me especially leaving at 6 every morning...then i got a ticket and i dont feel the love anymore

 

It triggers anytime, cruising, wot, and idle, Mine stays on unless I reset it. I really wish it would go away.
