Megan Gaskets

I was wondering if you guys trust the Gaskets that Megan sends with their exhaust manifolds? My stock gaskets are all chewed up from getting thestocg manifold off and I know that Megan sends new gaskets. So my question is, should I just use the gaskets that Megan sends or should I buy new OEM Gaskets to replace the messed up one I currently have?

Thanks

No they leak. Get a factory one. Lancershop sells them or the dealer. Also lancershop sells a thicker one for almost the same price.

Aftermarket manifold gaskets are garbage, always use the stock metal ones.

From a Megan vendor... do not use the Megan gaskets north of the DP. I've had my Megan turbo back off more times than I can remember, and everything south of the DP has been retained, and used over and over since 04'. They do not leak and are just fine. However, just looking at them, I never used the Megan gaskets on the O2 housing/turbo/or exhaust manifold.

On a different note, I've reused the OE gaskets on the O2 housing/turbo/exhaust manifold just as many times. Never had a leak one...

I've also used turbo to manifold and head to manifold gaskets multiple times for extended periods with DSM's and never had any problem with leaks.

The oem manifolds "north of the downpipe", as Zeus so eloquently put it, are friggin diesel. They feel as though they are made of lead, definitely reusable except for the head to manifold gasket. I would probably replace that one.
