It hits very hard on the street. Brandon and I set the cams to -4/-1 (I wish I could get the exact specs on the Helix cams) due to my style of driving.

Funny thing happend while the car was on the dyno. This guy walks up just as Mase starts the pull. Rev.. rev.. exhaust note changes and the car pulls really hard. Guy looks over and says what cams you got in that thing sounds like it has VTEC. LOL

Razorlab should pat himself on the back. Mase said for a guy that hand not touched my car you had the GM3port dialed in nearly perfect. First try no less!

LOL, yeah I always wonder why I didnt pull on that much on the streets compared to other stock turbo evo's in town. your freaking car has VTEC :P j/k, you have pretty good setup man. I will say his car pretty quick on the streets and his fast *** shifting too

+1

I'd say on our DD it would be in the 280 - 290 range

350.1whp and 303ftlb @ 20-21psi. Base line (in red) (23psi) was 338whp and 290ftlb. Mase said I have the highest HP stock turbo/ECU Evo VIII he has ever had on his dyno. I am over the moon. HAPPY HAPPY!!! 8)

Mase estimated 320whp. On the first pull he stopped, came over and said somethings not right. What mods do you have again because you just made 338 base line! 8)

Just goes to show you how good Bnice01's ROAD TUNE was. You the man Brandon!

Oh and MASE, what a nice guy and the Stage6 guys were very nice and kept us entertained will we waited for MASE to finish up a RSX he was tuning.
What correction factor were they using. I seriously doubt it was 1.0 unless the temp probe was laying on your exhaust manifold or they had the atmospherics wrong.

Not so much,

The total correction was 1.03 for yesterday.

I leave my dyno at x=1.05. it had a atm. correction of .98 yesterday

thus 1.03 total.

if you take it uncorrected. its still 339 whp.

if you own a dd you would also know that depending upon your strapping method, it can change the power output.

Mase

P.S. not that it matters because we shouldnt even be trying to compare dd to dynojet numbers (they read totally different), but on average if you take a car off my dyno and put it on a dynojet its 10-12 % higher max power on a dynojet. We've tested this several times being I used to have a DJ in my shop as well as my DD.

Mase,

Not for an argument, but just for another data point, what does a Evo 9 100% bone stock put down tq/hp on your dyno?

I'm happy and thats all that matters. Let see what the car traps in the 1/4!

If anyone would like to start a DD vrs Dynojet vrs Mustang thread have it at. Just lets not do it in my thread.
