but AMS Says that you CAN take their kit up to 8-8.5k IF its a drag racing event where it won't be held that high for long. But NOT for track racing. Also with most turbos you don't continue to make power when being super high in the rpm's so why hold it up there unless its just to rev more during the quarter mile so you don't have to switch to a higher gear or something.
With 8 grand you can have the ENTIRE LONG BLOCK SHIPPED, DISASSEMBLED, BUILT, ASSEMBLE, SHIPPED BACK by Buschur... I know because I just did it and even then it was still $500+ less!!!

nah its their regular priced one I'm talking about...BUT I was wrong. It's 8200 rpms drag racing and 7800 for track racing. I could've sworn their website used to say 8500 for drag though BUT I have been wrong before lol

That's very interesting Mellon. So now from a roll, say like 60 MPH against a even 2.3, I now think the 2.3 will take off, but once he shifts, it's over... 2.0 will win the game. If I put a HTA 35R on my car, and send that bish to 9,000, there's no 2.3 that's going to be able to keep up unless it's the AMS RR 2.3 and even then, I have my money on the 2.0 being able to go to 10,500!!!!

Also with most turbos you don't continue to make power when being super high in the rpm's like 9k on up unless you have a really big turbo so why hold it up there unless its just to rev more during the quarter mile so you don't have to switch to a higher gear or something.
