I just called Supertech on this problem. I have ordered 3 sets of there dual kits and now just ordered my 4th. The last 3 sets did not come with seals and the 4th kit did. Since i sold my last kit to a member on here that is worried now about this i figured i would see what is up.

They said that on there older kits they did not sell any kits with seals. Then they got some complaints about the seals rubbing on the spring but was a very limited amount of complaints. So then they still sold the kits with out the seals but with a warning in the box saying that there is a possibility the seals will rub. Then they finally had Viton make them some seals and included them in the kits and raised the price a little.

So what they are saying is they never contacted any vendor to tell them about this problem before hand. They said that since the instances are very minimal that they did not see a need for it.

Bottom line is there older kits did not come with seals and they recommended stock seals for them to work. Then they found out that it was a problem in some cars and now they include them in the kit. Anybody that has bought a old kit and is having problems i would call Supertech and tell them you want a set of seals becouse that is just a bunch of BS! They normally are pretty good about things in 1 set i installed in a Talon it broke 3 of the seats somehow..hmmm.. and they replaced them for free.

Sorry for the rant but i just needed to clear that up becouse i sold kits on here to members without being informed about this problem and now those members are complaining to me that i ripped them off when it was nothing like that.

Sorry!
Chris

Authorized dealers such as TTP-Engineering have been provided the information on Supertech's part # list. Any authorized dealer has the info they need in front of them.
