Hyper intake manifold- its here...
#46
We've seen excellent results from all our customers who have used this unit. It will be interesting to see how well the hypertune performs in back-to-back testing with a much more conservative setup than david buschur's.
edit: based off feedback from our other customers, this intake manifold is not intended to be a huge plenum drag race manifold, rather its designed to improve throttle response, optimize the powerband and fatten up the midrange with top end gains, but biased towards the middle. Just like everything else, it works best with increased displacement (Strokers) and good headwork/cams.

sorry guys, it has been ridiculous at the shop, and my main tech is on vacation... so ive been working on cars, and not in my office at the moment...
we will probably do the testing after the cylinder head is done and new cams are installed.... i think it will still be a proper test... for most people to relate took, as the car has a 50trim turbo, not a monster turbo...
this is the cars current setup, ets 50trim, fmic, turboback..... gsc s1's.....
ported stocker tbody and manifold....
will be a custom CBRD/Blouch Borgwarner comp wheel with 50 trim turbine, Jun Ix cams, BRstage 3 head... and we will test the manifold on this setup.

Chad,
You are killing me over here. My tax return money is burning a hole in my pocket and I need the results of this test to part with my $$$$. It has been a long time. Is this project abandoned? David's testing was nice, but I really want to see what this manifold does with a smaller turbo.

A) Dave B. performed that awesome IM shoot out as seen in the latest edition of D-Sport (Thanks Dave, Awesome work by the way!) and...
B) Mark's hands are so small we didn't want them to cramp up having to do all that wrenching over and over again. It would be very upsetting if they twisted up into "The Claw". Then he would be very bored at night!
J/K, Don't hurt me Mark!

Technically I think it should be stated that YOU opted for a lot of new stuff if not "we"! But any who, It's true we are basically redoing the whole top end at once b/c:
