car is stalling all the time please help

my car idleing at 750rpm and when a lound vibration comes near the car (like my buddies sti reving next to me, my car will end up stalling out) it also dosnt have a smooth idle. it has like hic-ups once in a while. i thought it was my plugs. i changed them and it still has the same problem. i think its fuel related. also when im drivin say 3rd gear at 4500 rpm and go wot it will studer like its not getting fuel then run fine. also if i rev to 3000k frome a stop, when the rpms come back down they go to like 500 then back to 750rpm. i dont know what to do now. probley going to end up taking it to alantic motorsports in MD this week

Did you check all the lines in your engine bay? My friend had a similar problem and I checked his engine and one of the vacuum lines going into his intake had slipped off.

But my guess is the tune, actually I have no idea. I do however doubt that loud noises or vibrations would cause the car to stall, cause that is really weird. Good luck finding out post up after you do!

knock sensor is just sticking inthe block.. it senses vibrations in the motor like a misfire or something and will retard timing like crazy AKA its the sensor that keeps you from blowing **** up.

its a sensor in the back of the block. its basically a microphone that can tell if your engine is detonating. I guess it would have to be replaced to fix this. its kind of hard to get to. I'd take out the front passenger side axel to try and get to it if I were you.
