Safe Injection is good. It's just not working on MY car like I expected. And no, what it is doing isn't bad, it just messes up my racing. It's like I'm flat shifting in every gear. I've decided to disable it for the time being but that's on me if something happens.

As a secondary safety mechanism which is more than likely much FASTER to respond to a detonation condition than Safe Injection is the Ecuflash "knock light" add-on which will flash the "check engine light" when it sees knock from the engine. This will probably save your engine before the Safe Injection will IMO.

Glad to read you guys are happy with the VC-25D injection controller. That was a special design we did for the Mitsubishi engine and we no longer sell it to snow. We have them in stock and available at our website if you are interested :

The SafeInjection you are having shift issues with, is that the SI-10 or SI-05?
We no longer manufacture those, and our new IFS-10 is a redesign of the older SafeInjection units.

Here is a link to a video of the IFS in action.

If you are seeing a shift issue with one of our IFS-10s please let us know and we will resolve it.

Best regards,

Dan

I talked to the guys at Snow Performance and the new safe injection will be available in about 3 weeks. They said it is in its final stages of testing and production.
