Are you sure that's an Evo9 WGA? Looks like an Evo8 WGA to me.

 

Are you asking me? If you read my posts, you'll see its an FP upgraded 18 psi adjustable wastegate - Its got the nut to adjust it. I dunno what an Evo IX WGA looks like, sorry!

 

It appears to me that it wasn't cut, bent and re-welded like the IX HD actuators. Notice how straight the bracket is. That's just my guess.

 

Great call - I see it now when I compare his pic to mine - They have the bracket slightly tweaked and I saw that mark, but didnt know what it meant. I assume the bracket needs to be bent out....

 

UPDATE: Called FP today and talked to Amber. Apparently Robert emailed me on Friday and she had a copy of the message, but I never got it. Weird, spam filter at work, perhaps.

Anyways, they put the wrong WGA arm (designed for Evo VIII turbo) on it. She asked me to pull it off and that they are sending out a IX FP WGA and a call tag for the old one.

Great customer service, as expected!

It's not just the arm it's the wrong bracket.

 

correct, I should have said assembly, not arm. Its the bracket which caused the headaches!
