The answer that's been said more times than I care to count and more times in threads than I care to search for... DITCH the (explicit) HKS BOV. It won't work NOT recirculated on a MAF based car. Period. End. Case Closed. Shut.

You're challenging me?? WTF!! {poke} That's some funny stuff right there... I don't care who you are... If you know so much about it, why do you need US to tell you what to do with YOUR car?

Good luck with your car...

P.S. Here is ONE thread on that pos HKS stabilizer... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=stabilizer

That stabalizer does not work. You either recirculate or use another valve. If you like noise so much get an aem ems. They are $1400 plus expensive tuning. That will allow you to run that.

WOW this thread is crazy almost don't want to say it but or a GM maf setup the right way will let you vent also, Another thing is that the Evo 9 runs alright on a BOV that is vented, and you can install all your parts and not get a tune and you will be ok, but you will run rich more than anything. Expect the bumper to turn black, With a tune you would start to really understand the real power that can be made, its night and day. If you do put on a VTA bov you will trip the Service light, If you have questions you can PM me KEVIN Evo 9MR Self tune,

lol sorry but wow someone needs to do spell check. Totally off topic in this old thread but they really do. Haha oh and the search button does help. AMS also has an explanation on their site why VTA is not good for Maf DIDY is right you can run a vta that is if you can tune out your own afr's. But for me I just think I will save the work and stay recirc till i get a maf to map convert. Lol sorry for resurrecting a dead thread people!
