just to clarify, the diagram on our website is for an older style MBC/EBC

Sorry to revive an old thread, but i'm having problems setting up my external wg too. I have a hall man es and i don't know if i turn boost up or down counter clockwise or the other way around. So as i understand i should leave the top nipple on the WG open ?

Yes, leave the top nipple open. Its only used for electronic boost controllers.
