Hooking up Tial wastegate to MBC?

Ive heard & read that you take the vacuum source on the side of the Tial, and 'T' it in with a vacuum source off the turbo, and the other half to you mbc.

I was wanting confirmation of this. I am using the Hallman in-cabin setup.

Well, according to that, I must 'T' in the mbc with a vacuum source and to the wastegate.

Which is it?

you leave the top opened into air on a WG, and the side of the wg does go to the side of the mbc.

If you leave 'the top opened air on a MBC', then the MBC doesnt have a vacuum source to work off of. How does this make sense?

Just for fun, why don't you read the instructions and try them out?

Take the side vacuum nipple on the hallman and put it to the side of the tial.. then you can either "t" the bottom of the hallman into your bov line (goes to the intake mani) or you can just route it to your turbo nipple.. if you "t" it into the bov line .. then make sure to cap off the turbo nipple

simple man. there you go (:

Thanks, this is what I was trying to confirm.

CO_VR4, the instructions you provided were confusing me, thats why I had to re-ask the question. I dont want to accidently hit 30+ lbs of boost like I did on accident yesterday. Scared me a little, considering im not tuned & on 14.5 wastegate right now. (Wastegate line popped off )

Thats what i said.......... i ment the WG lol, the top of the wg can be left open if your using a MBC, if you use a EBC then you'll use the top port on the wastegate aswell as the side.

Either method, the one detailed on TiAL's website and the one posted by TiALSport will work.

They are doing the same thing... the only difference is where they control the pressure the EWG will "see".

FWIW. I have tried both methods, prefer increasing pressure to the back side (top) of the diaphram as a means of increasing boost than limiting the amount of pressure on the pressure side (bottom) of the EWG. At least that way the effect matched the inscription (turn for more boost----->) on my dash mounted MBC!
