Sorry did not phrase that right... he ran that time on race... and on pump I don't even know if anyone keeps track of Evo Green best quarter mile times on pump.

crcain and Mark S., sorry I read like 4 pages and just started responding off the top of my head. I meant no disrespect to Mark S in my comments. Crcain, I didn't mean to say I didn't see any high numbers, I was talking about high boost. Someone in here was talking about doing tuning at high boost and 40 psi or something was mentioned. I was stating I didn't think 40 psi is high boost, it's fairly common now-a-days.

I believe that currently the quickest/fastest time run on straight pump gas is Trent's car with the 35r, 10.6 at 134.

The elephant in the room is still obviously why AMS 37R car runs 400 atw and Buschur 35R car runs 600 atw. Sorry but 200 atw in a safety is a lot of safety! Maybe Sharkbite should go fill up with 89 octane and run the same atw and then everyone will be like, damn! Nice one!

i still dont get how a 2.3L with a gt37 runs 420hp and on my stock evo 9 turbo i run 390hp at 21-22psi and my pump gas map is very very safe also.

some help out and explain.

I think you may be pretty close to correct. We ARE working on a stock turbo setup. It's now sitting in the trailer ready to install AFTER we max our current combo. As far as pump gas for us, naw, I have to have the Impoprt to make up for the bad tuning.

only if it were that easy, we'd all be running around with vp import making ridiculous power on accident

No Evo has run 10.51 on a green yet. The record is held by Curt Brown at 10.599 I believe. Running mid 10's on a Green is not as easy as it sounds, that's why no one has hit 10.5's but one person, Curt. We're at 10.61 on the first passes for the new setup. 10.4's are one the way, maybe faster. Sorry for the OT.

I think the higher exhaust manifold backpressure caused by stock style turbos will make the knock threshold lower than a big turbo that is more free flowing and has less backpressure.
