12-1 dayum! what were your EGT's?

thats really weird that you didn't see any gains on the C-16 & actually had to reduce timing. i could see if the burn rate was faster, but even then you'd be seeing some improvement in power....

at your power level & afr i wouldn't be surprised if you need to go to a colder plug.

12 AFR is about right for the fuel....I had a 12 AFR with the MS109 and the car ran like a champ!

I don't have an EGT sensor...i should go get one huh

any plans in the future to retune again using C16 considering you're having doubts that you really didn't get real C16? maybe VP Import would have great results in your setup?

My current setup is just completely maxed out, in order to make some decent gains from here I am going to need a ported/polished head, cams with a higher lift (Cosworth/JUN), valve springs/retainers, aftermarket intake manifold, ported exhaust manifold, etc.....

So with that said, back to MS109 for this Friday @ the Track will try to lower the tire pressure some more to get some 1.6xx 60 ft times to try to runs some lower 7s in the 1/8th...

Yep, I look'd at your chart, and mine. Just almost identical. I also have my set-up max'd-out.
And, we tried adding timing on C-16 too, and it would knock, so we had to turn the timing back down.
Ended up with the power in my sig.
I was the other guy, Manie, doing 35~37 psi spikes.

You are right, to get more power, now we need to do port everything and higher duration cams, etc.
So I say enjoy the new found power for a little while as it is a killer street set-up and a good track performing set-up.
Then, when go bigger a few months down the road when more power is needed.

hah! i bet it ran good!

i have an spare EGT sensor i swapped out W a fresh one recently. it has about 2 years of use on it, but she still still read good when i pulled her & appears in good condition. its all yours if you want it, i imagine you can just wire it into the Zeitronix display you already have too
