What is your goal for power? I just went with the 9 Turbo but now i want more. The 9 does feel like it has a bit more ***** than the 8 did. Thing is with the Green is you really need to up the boost and do meth injection to get the True power outta it. I never actually went back to the track after i put the 9 on so cant tell ya exact power diff.

Green is the upgraded version of the stock 9 turbo....
Green would require upgraded injectors aswell, Both turbo's would require the 8 install kit.
I donno for sure but spool up should be the same, but MORE TOP END HP from the green.

The FP green was a huge step up for me over the stock VIII turbo. It is , however, more expensive than a IX.
Keep in mind you will also need bigger injectors and a fuel pump to use it. I would also do all the supporting mods first such as cams. (Just noticed you have them from your sig)
I am actually in the process of parting out my VIII and will be selling this turbo shortly. Let me know if you might be interested in a used one

I made 344 whp & 345 ft/lbs on Buschur Racings mustang dyno with straight 93 octane on my stock 9 turbo at around a peak of 26 psi. At the same boost level and pump gas I expect to make around 40 more hp and ft/lbs on the green.
Like everyone else has said. It all just depends on how much you want to spends. A new green goes for around $1700 and usually you have to wait 2 months to get one.
If you are interested, I have my stock 9 turbo with 11,500 miles on it for sale along with a Buschur Racing stainless steel o2 housing for $800 shipped. The turbo was always taken care of (synthetic oil, timed, etc...).
Let me know. Send me a PM if interested.

A new tune for sure! Walbro 255lph fuel pump and 780cc injectors. Actually, you can run either 680, 720, 750, or 780cc injectors. If, however, you plan to run the Green at much over 25 PSI on pump w/o meth, then get the 750's, or the 780's. If using E85, then even bigger injectors would be a requisite, as well as a double-pumper(dual fuel pump). The reflash, in any case, is obligatory.
