I was just saying about 450whp on dynojet = 400whp on mustang.

Let me just say I'm shooting for 400whp on mustang dyno.

That works now?

I think you took it the wrong way I was just curious if you were going to dyno the setup at both DTM and on a dynojet since our setups are almost identical I was curious to see your results.

Yes, I will take it to a dynojet later just to see what the number is.

Why did you not opt for the S cover over the E?

Just curious...

Update : Prior to the turbo installation, I had a problem with oil pressure. The cylinder pressure was 120 across the board except 4th being 128.
I thought it was idle related but apparently it was oil pump going bad taking the motor with it.

DTM is building my motor : 2.3L bottom end, built head, and exedy twin HD

Stay tuned for before breakin and after breakin numbers

E cover flows plenty enough for my application.

I don't get how doing a compression test would show the oil pump going bad? And 8 psi difference is exceptable. From one tester to another, there can be differences as much as 10 psi. Just curious.

I had oil pressure light come on brieftly when the idle fell below 1000, which is explainable as the car is trying to die.

But I also had the light come on from 2000 to 1000rpm occasionally.
Each time the light came on, my pressure reading would go below 10psi (DEFI BF gauge reading).

The compression test was done afterwards.

~163-170psi across the board is where it should be.
and 120psi is not in the acceptable range.

I didn't want to risk blowing the motor especially when I'm adding a big turbo.

And hell, I was going to build my motor anyway at some point or another.

I didn't think I'd go from an average evo to a 'holy **** built!! evo' in a matter of a month.

But still your car is a monster!
