TILTON or EXEDY... PLEASE CHIME IN!!!
Ok, i have talked to a few big dogs, and woould like a few others to chime in.
I already searched and nothing was what i was looking for.
My goal here is 725-800 awhp on a dyno jet. Which clutch of the 2 are better for daily driving with a mix of the track
The Exedy Triple disk
or
The Tilton custom twin disk
I plan to daily drive the car in PA, but track it maybe once every 2 weeks or so.
so which one is better? who has experiences. Imagine they were the same price also, no need to bicker over value.
Soo.. those who have either one and can compare please let me know!
that means people like you:
AL
Paul
DB
AMS
And any individual that might be helpful
THANKS IN ADVANCE , making the purchase of the next 2/3 days.
Also, i would prefer something that does not snap parts (trans, rear dif, axles etc)

I tried both...Tilton is better for the street...I have driven my car 6K with the power in my signature no problem...I rebuilt it recently because a shipping company decided to ride my clutch on a ramp.
I confidently say that my Tilton could have lasted way more before that mishap..The Tilton is expensive but cost less to rebuild also...your call...my 2 cents here.

I have not had a triple disk yet. I did have a twin and liked it.
My fear is im told that the triple has NO SLIP at all. And will snap tranny parts alot faster than the tilton. But on the other hand I talked to paul nelson (you might know the guy ) a few weeks ago and said the tilton wears down...
Dont want to make the wrong choice.

The Tripple is buy far the Best street clutch I have ever driven that can hold the HP. Due to the weight of it your launch RPMs could be a good 1000rpms less then the Tilton and its very slipable. My wife has been driving my tipple now and likes it much better then the twin besides the extra noise. With the weight of the clutch I find it very hard to even kill it. I can start my evo on in 2nd with hardly even slipping it.
I have only driven the SR tipple which is only rated for like 900whp. Have not driven the HR version yet which is like the HD version of the tripple.
