E85 stock turbo english racing tune, dyno graph inside.

This is my first dyno run since I had cams 02 housing hotside and the e85 conversion done, needless to say I am very very happy.

It was a dyno day that consisted of about 10 sti's countless wrx's a few honda's and 2 evo's. Probally 40 cars in total and I came out on top by about 65 hp . I dont know how dyno dynamics compares to a dynojet.... anybody??

Props to English Racing for the tune the car is oh so smooth. All mods are in sig.

From my experience, my numbers changed about 20% from DynoJet to a DynoDynamics. But it seems those dyno numbers were fudged to look like DynoJet numbers, because 414whp/.80 = 517whp DynoJet which is crazy high for a stock turbo. IMO I would go to the track this season and calculate your hp from your weight/et/and traps.

EDIT: Why did you let out at 6725rpms?

20%? I don't know what the calibration was on the dynos you've been on, but they were obviously WAY OFF! You should see maybe 5% difference from a dynojet to a dyno dynamics.

410whp on 1320's DynoJet, 330whp on KTR's Dyno Dynamics in Ayer, MA.

Re-Dyno'ed at 1320 with meth @ 481whp.

EDIT: Read Warr's post here: #12 @ https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...namics+dynojet

Ok. Like I said before, the calibration of those dynos are not right. There is NO way the difference is that significant. Here is the order in which dynos read (from lowest to highest):

Mustang ==> Dyno Dynamics ==> Dynojet ==> Dynapack

As a reference point, here are two dyno graphs from when my S2000 was N/A:

This one is from a dynapack (highest reading dyno):

This one is from a dyno dynamics (second to the lowest reading dyno):

Same mods. Within a day of each others. Same conditions. 246rwhp vs. 225rwp. A difference of ~9%. Granted this wasn't a direct comparison the dynos in question, but it is comparing the highest reading dyno with the second to the lowest reading dyno.

Everything I have read states that a dynojet typical reads 2-3% higher than a dyno dynamics.

Food for thought: Dyno numbers are like statistics--the originator of the data can skew the results depending on the desired "message".

can you please post the correction factor used for the 414/422 pull?

Also I think there is a bigger difference when using AWD between dynojets and dyno dynamics, around 15%. The mustang dyno near me reads a couple percent higher than the local dyno dynamics

That makes zero sense. Whether an Evo dynos on a Mustang, dyno dynamics, dynojet or dynapack dyno it is still an AWD dyno. It isn't like you are comparing FWD vs. RWD vs. AWD.

I'm not sure how to get ahold of the correction factor, they were trying to get us in and out as fast as possible. If i were to give them a call would I be able to get this information?

When you were talking about the difference between dynojets and dyno dynamics you were quoting RWD numbers. I don't know if there is really a difference, but I do know a dynojet is not within 2-3% of a dyno dynamics

I am sure that is what you'd LIKE to believe.
