HKS TT type 1 turbo timer or Blitz DTT DC2?

hey guys, i need a turbo timer and i cant decide between the HKS TT type 1 turbo timer or Blitz DTT DC2.

I like the 0-60 and 1/4 time features on the HKS but will it be hard to install? I dont know much about turbos so this is all a bit confusing. Should go just go with the Blitz DTT DC2 with the 95-99 eclipse harness? Or is installing the HKS unit easy? Also, i am supposed to use the eclipse 95-99 harness right? I have a US Evolution 8, thanks a lot in advance!

if u do not have a boost gauge, get the DC2 like me because it has a digital boost gauge built in and it rocks

I just put in a boost guage a couple days ago. So u think thats the only advantage over the HKS? Also, does anyone know if its hard to install the HKS unit to get all the things like 0-60 acceleration and 1/4 miles times to work and all that?

well the DC2 is small and easy to mount and it has a peak boost function too so u dont have to monitor your gauge while driving but the 0-60 on the HKS is pretty appealing and I'm sure you don't have to do anything extra to get the 0-60 times

The HKS Type 1 is real easy to install

There is a walk through in the How to forum

but i am real happy with the Type 1

it also tells you speed, peak speed, RPM, peak Rpm, shift light, speed warning, voltage meter, and more

Since you have a boost guage i would go with the HKS Type 1 with the 95-99 eclipse harness

I think the boost guage is the main advantage of the DC2, so if you already have one I would go with the HKS. The 95-99 Eclipse harness worked fine on my DC2.
