I recommend putting 5 inch custom piping on the car. It works really well.

My 5 inch piping works great. Every once and a while it might scrape the ground but i love the look of that huge tip.

If you seriously have a 5" all the way, I would love to see a photo of your downpipe installed on your car. Basically how you manage to make the pipe to clear the tie bars, or basically the front axle area. And even the type of donut gasket you use at the turbo and the flange you use.

I had axis power racing custom made the entire thing. We thought about 4". It is do-able, but it would rattle like nothing else.

I hope we are not talking about only the cat-back being 5".

Red Dragon - I have the RMR turbo-back exhaust (about to get 3" cat, too) and I love it. Sounds great, makes good power. Pic below...

With the exception of the muffler, they are all the same im most regards. Some weigh less than others. Some have less bends. Some cost way too much. My advice is judge by sound. 3 inches is 3 inches (unless your wife is doing the measuring). I have the buschur and have no regrets about it. It looks closest to a stock piece, one of the cheapest and its lighter than the majority out there. However, if you dont like it loud, I would suggest getting a high flow cat. Also, support your local earth by doing so!

Haha 5" is less than average ya know

Red Dragon,
I've been browsing the exhaust options as well. Looks like it's really up to how much you want to spend. There's so many brands and types now it's crazy. I'm cheap so I chose the Works axle back. Simple, cheap, 35 seconds to install and results are made. If I had big power numbers in store for the future I might have opted for a cat back system but even then the price doesn't seem to justify the means when you're mostly stock, at least in my case.
Maybe I'll just go monster garage style and have 4 pipes sticking out of my hood. Vrrrooooommm!!! rumble rumble rumble.
