Finnaly Getting the TBE

I might not even get it this soon if problems did not occur...
I got some money from tax return , so I wanted to check my car at dealership... They do it, and find out that it's running pretty good, but only problem is cat. (car is all stock), and they were gonna replace it for free, cause of some warranty... I was surprised.. Made an appointment with them for today, and today they take off cat and find out that the welding on whole exhaust is messed up, and wont just put the cat back... So whats my decision??
I called Buschur spoke with Nick (nice and friendly guy) and got theirs TBE, but I wont be driving my car until I get the it, which sucks... A whole week without Evo is a nightmare...
I hope I get it by Friday..Limited options suck..

Its worth the wait. You will be happy when the exhaust is on the car.

a forced upgrade is a good thing don't forget to get it tuned to get the max out of it after the exhaust upgrade.

I personally think they messed it up while taking the cat off, and now they are saying they need to replace the whole thing... the option that I had was to put new stock exhaust, which was $475... I think I made a good decision with Bushur...

yep, I'm running the BR tbe with test pipe and bullet muffler, it's loud and raspy which isn't necessarily my cup of tea but it flows damn good and that was the purpose for me.

Just so you know, the BR exhaust is ****ing loud! It makes great power, but some people can't stand how loud it is, so I hope you dont mind.

it will bring a new smile to your face, you will love the new sound and response. what your plans for boost. If you get a boost controller just up the boost to around 22 assuming 92 octane and you should be good man, no tune really necessary for knocks. But if you wanna go more boost I would get a tune. Because i got knock (high load RPM) with stock timing/fuel with a TBE only.
but like mellon said,a tune will get ya more out of you system.

i saw some clips on youtube, and I liked em... I also got it with High flow cat and magnaflow muffler... I should be fine with it.
Soon I will be getting intake and MBC, I'll do about 22 PSIs, kinda...and get tunned.
extra 300 bucks, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna like it..

So wait.... If the dealership was doing it under warranty, why did you have to pay 475 for the stock exhaust, or I'm reading this wrong?
