thats a shame! it would be great to see a 88mm work on an EVO.

have you seen the new Forced Inductions turbos?? they do a 80mm unit that has made around 1400bhp on a 2.0 ltr engine!! that was with their race cover. might be worth having a word with them. would make a great package if the lag wasn't too bad.

yeah!

RC Developments tried it in their monster white EVO 6 a few years ago. not sure if they got it to work properly or not.

as said above i have heard and seen a graph for a 2.0ltr cossworth making 1400rwbhp with a ST80mm turbo from forced inductions. it had there race cover on i think. still pretty impresive! lol

Don't speculate. The information about that turbo will be released when the time is right. If you only knew what we knew.

Trust me i saw Joe's white Evo at the track last friday night and the track was cold and with better starts he could have went 10's easy and he was only running 16psi car was still hitting well off in the 120mph. For a car with just a break in tune it is vary fast

I didn't even think to post results over here. This was my best run of the night. Was having problems when shifting to 2nd. Many times the rpm's would drop to far. Probably has to with only shifting at 7500 when it really wants to be shifted higher. This was just so I could have some fun with the car and everything was set up pretty conservatively. 16 psi and 8k rev limit.
I did have a blast chasing people down after the bad starts though.

R/T.........701
60'..........1.835
330.........? (wasnt working in this lane all night)
1/8..........7.432
MPH.........97.07
1000........9.593
1/4..........11.403
MPH..........125.55

those are nice prelim numbers. Looking forward to see what you end up seeing what your end results are. Looks like Joe is going to have one hell of a season.

Also to me the car look to make boost pretty fast i thought it would have more lag for a turbo that size but like he said early in the post 5200rpm sounds and looks about right but that's just my 2 cents like i said car is carzy fast and like he said he enjoyed running people down
