Prelim Numbers for Twin Scroll Setup

This pic is of a dyno sheet from one of our customers cars with a TS setup.
We are testing the DNP T4 manifold with one of our hybrid turbochargers. This is on a T4 Twin scroll turbine housing and wheel.
It is a rather large turbo. Flows 90+ lbs

Joe is in the process of breaking in the engine a bit so here are his prelim numbers on 19-20 PSI and Pump gas.
Corrected numbers of 495WHP and 366Trq
Notice that right after peak torque the True Boost is trying to maintain 19 psi. Right around 6800 rpm the boost holds at 20psi.

This was done with ONE 44mm TiAl wastegate. It controlled boost so well that we were able to get a solid 10 psi across the rpm range with just One gate.

So in conclusion, the DNP and single gate seems to do quite well. Much better than expected. Hopefully it won't show us up on our manifold that will go on shortly

I'll update the thread with a complete list of mods along with end result numbers soon.
Thanks for reading.

Nick

This is NOT a T3 based turbo. It is MUCH larger.
So spool up is very good, for the wheel size and spring pressure used in the gate.

my word! 19-20 psi, 93 octane, 495whp on your ridiculous dyno?! i ain't gonna lie, there's at least one TS tuner that just pooped his pants and another tuner that won't appreciate your winter activities too much.

Nick when are you seeing full boost on this turbo with this setup?

Makes great power for very little boost. I know how these Mustangs read and that is really awesome!

We saw 19 Lbs at 5200 rpm. We are going to run 30+ with twin pumps next week.
The goal for this car was to see if a TS would choke up top. Not necessarily better spool up. It shall be very interesting.

I am very curious to see still 5200rpm's is solid for that kind of power.

Good luck on the rest of your testing I am curious to see how it turns out man.

Joe, get a flux capacitor in this thing and you could probably go back in time.
