I have sent an email to Quaker State requesting an MSDS for the Q Power.
From what I can see right now, it looks like another Synthetic Wanna Be just like Castrol SynTec and the Geman Castrol.

If you really want to get into things, let's take it away from Synthetic/Hydro-Cracked or Petroleum. The overall Performance of the oil is what matters. I am a believer in Testing Data and I am not talking advertising with mis-leading words such as full or fully synthetic or, "Among The Leading Brands" or "Against Other Synthetics" (RP's great claim)
I want to see Tests from Laboratories.. Such as the following ASTM Tests...
D-4742, D-4683, D-5800, D-97, D-4172, D-5293, D-2896
These are actual tests.. They cannot have the Human Hand involved like the false ads on TV with the additives and the "One Armed Bandit" "Wear Scar Tester" .. That would be a Falex Bearing Tester if it was not operated by hand and it is a Gear Lube Test.
Same with all these "Oil Analysis" reports... If they are done by individuals, they are no good as they switch from brand to brand testing oils..Bzzzzzzz... You have to do Trend Analysis to support anything about the oil itself.

Well, I suppose we could ask the same question about "Q" ... All we have is there advertising.... No Test Reports, because there aren't any. I suppose if they become a big enough player, someone might do some.
As for AMSOIL, after over 24 Years of selling it, neither the Product, or the Company, has ever let me down. When AMSOIL does tests or has them performed, they name, Names and even show any shortcomings.
The other companies use Technicalities in the Law using words such as Full or Fully Synthetic. I am always more than skeptical when I see those words.
I will stay with a Proven Product.
Not saying anything is wrong with "Q", just saying I want to see ASTM Tests.
