Anyone use Motul trans fluid?

I am getting my all my fluids changed next week because my mileage is almost 15k. Adam at Devotuning knows to only use OEM for the TC and diff, but he says he uses Motul for the trans. I haven't heard much about them. Evo people usually use OEM or Redline, so does anyone have any experience with Motul? I don't want to mess up my car.

Thanks.

Motul is what Adam put in my EVO. Its great. Adam is a good guy. He wouldn't tell you to put something in your car unless he knew from experience that it was good. Trust the man. He knows his stuff.

Seems like he had some major issues with it.

Well, I don't know what his issue was, but thats what Adam puts in every EVO unless the customer requests otherwise. It was good enough for his own personal EVO...

I still use DiaQueen in the transfer case and the rear differential, but Motul in the tranny itself.

Thats all I used to use. In everything from the rad to the diffs. Great stuff. I never had any issues with with it. I am slowly switching to amsoil. Not cause I disliked Motul its just easier for me to get amsoil locally than motul.

Even though I don't sell Motul, I'd put money on it that whatever his problem is, it wasn't caused by the fluid.

Give me a call or email me for a quote, I wholesale AMSOIL to All forum Members

Although Motul is not in this test, only because it is not popular enough and the costs of the tests are astronomical, it will give you some ideas on gear lube type fluids and how most of them do not even meet the Specs on the bottle.

Are there any parts stores i.e. Napa, Autozone, Advance Auto that carries any of these fluids or is it pretty much all mail order?

I am wondering which Motul product you guys run in your 6-spds. In my 5-spd. I have been using Motul Gear 300 for a few years now. No problems yet.
