Yeah, there were DSM's with automatic transmissions crank walking with low miles. Not cool, expecially since the maker offered no fix. So, people swapped in the older style engine.

I was lucky, my car came with the older engine. It was a 6-4 combo. Only an old timer will know what that is.

I removed the crankshaft. Thrust bearing had been wear out in timing belt side and that side in cranksaft had 0,01378 inch deep groove. I dont have any idea what caused that. Which side usually wear out? Is it cluch side?

How do i identify orginal bearings? Does they have mitcubishi logo's ? I would like to know if somebody have done some repairs in this engine.
