Oh, not saying it has'nt happened, just that I have never seen a "my stock intake mani exploded" thread, or even "my AMS Mani exploded".

Obviously the stock intake mani is cast and stronger.....So port it and don't worry about it blowing up. It's not like a ported stock IM has never made big power.

What I don't understand is WHY Magnus's new design manifold was never tested? If this was such a big deal, and it was going to end up as a major feature article in a magazine, none of the parties involved in the testing could come up with a current design Magnus manifold, considering the potential harm one could do to another's business if this important information is disclosed or not?

How convenient, some whatever manifold with Magnus's name on it was bought from EBAY of all places, and this was the example used for testing, yet the manufactuer in question never had a chance to prove himself by having an example of his current product in this "test". What a joke.

amen

i cant get over the fact that some/same people are still kicking this dead-horse.

we need more 3rd party testing....not some magazine/part's manufacturer supplying parts/scripted words to say about a given product.

Start a poll and see how much of decline alky kits have gotten to in past year or so.
Now some "good" (only 2) have better spray qualities that won't have the inherent problems of the shoemakers in the past.

Really? Put my post back up, or re-quote me, and let me know where I was out of line? Or at least you could have edited it, I had at least a couple of different points to make. It seems that unless you are all over a particular vendor's jock, you will get your posts deleted/edited.

You received a warning via PM within a few minutes of your post being deleted. The warning gave the reason and quoted your post.

If you don't like a vendor then don't buy from them. The subject of this thread is NOT your dislike of Buschur racing. A member ask for a recommendation concerning a manifold and Bushcur responded with his experience. If you want to embellish your technical responses with baiting, innuendo and/or insults they will be removed. You should edit them before you hit the Submit Reply button.

Our threads get cluttered with comments from people who bring a grudge to this forum for a particular vendor. It is a disservice to the member's trying to get a simple question answered. THEY are responsible for the threads getting derailed and trashed, not the moderator's. Please take any further questions you have for me to PM. Thanks.

wow...

desperation is a stinky cologne...

Don't run a magnus intake manifold is my suggestion... Just don't be upset when someone with his intake manifold rapes you.

Better yet... All of you should go and get ported stock intake manifolds to increase FLOW!

Ported! Stock!

i saw somebody earlier on this thread get a slap on his hand for speaking his mind.

ill find out wich rag did the intake mani shootout they all got dynoed and showed realistically how bad most of the manifolds really performed. i was shocked myself. to see the name brands losing 30 whp some even up to 40whp
hks was one of the 2 manifolds that actually made hp and tq across the power band but with a price tag of 2k+ wich really suks.

they showed the mag, ams, hks and 2 other ones i beleive.

this thread is stupid...

did you ever see who the contributing editors were in that mag?

It's a small world and hate revolves quickly.

i mean really... how did magnus win the dsm shootout if his product does not work?

Can anyone answer me that?

Because he sure spanked everyone there.

Funny, isn't it? Almost mabey a little too convienient? Not really a fair test when the tester and the manufacturer in question have bad blood between them. And when the tester himself is a major contributing editor......
