AYC ACD problem
hey guys,
just bought a new evo, got an alarm installed and got my brakes done. few days after my pump (been told its for AYC ACD) wouldnt turn off after a drive. the only way i could turn it off was disconnect the battery. took it to the place that installed my alarm because i thought it was the fuel pump making the noise but it wasnt, but when i got there the noise stopped. but on the drive back all 3 lights came on, tarmac, gravel, snow.
i just done the test that someone else mentioned before in the other AYC ACD post. and i can hear the relay clicking, then all three lights go on.
does that mean i've burnt out my pump? maybe the alarm installer has arc'd the a cable with the electric pump and thats why it stayed on? can anyone tell me what colour the wire is that goes to the pump? and ideas on where its located inside the car?
thanks

The ayc/acd seem to be 2 separate systems, whilst the acd is built into the transfercase, the ayc is in the rear end. I wouldn't see why the 7/8/9 jdm system wouldn't be the same, but thats all speculation.
