Hey Barrie,

Honestly the car does not weight more than I say, but if you don“t belive it, you can buy a EU EVO RS Gravel model and strip it down and see that it is corret...

It is really hard to believe those weight numbers I mean fully stripped and without carbon fiber doors like someone else mentioned seems a bit far fetched. Also a 2.3 with a 42R seems like a waste.

What exactly did you take off? What did the car even come with when it was from the factory?

From the factory the EU EVO IX RS 5 gear weight only 1257 kg and it comes klima, powerstyring, radio, full interjor, dash, inside heater, and losts of ohthers parts i dont know the english word on.

Why do you mean that is a waste to run a 2.3 rr and the gt42 kit????

A GT42R on a 2.3 only comes alive at 5k plus giving you 3-4k of redline where as a fully built 2.1 or 2.0 would give you antother 1-2k rpm of powerband or at least revs?

if he said he is using it for drag racing, i guess he doesn't need that big of a power band. *shrugs*

Hi Scorke,

I understand what you are saying, but in my case i only need 2000 rpm whit full boost, but you are right if the car was for street used.....

If you want to drop some more weight there is.....
Remove front and rear crash beams and get carbon doors front and back from Seibon and also the trunk. Should take a good amount of weight out. As if its not insane as it is.. this would just finish off the theme of extreme dieting.

yes i could do that, but in Denmark Seibon cost a hell lot of money and i still need to learn to drive the car perfect. When i can drive the car perfect i will try to get some weight of it...
