people talking about the brakes... the stock evo brakes are for a 3200lb car with driver. if the car weighs 2200lbs it doesnt need huge brakes IMO.
and about the weight.. he said theres nothing left on the car that could be taken off. keep in mind, theres no dash, theres nothing extra. its not going to be easy to get a car this light without taking it completely apart and only using the bare minimum

Hej Lars, looks like a very nice buildup. I understand that cars in Denmark are quite expensive to begin with, so that makes this build even more impressive!
With that much power and having to restrict the 2.3L engine to about 9000 RPM, do you plan on shifting into 5th gear, or have you changed the final drive ratio to be able to stay in 4th gear through the end of the run? The reason I ask is because if the EU RS gear ratios are close to the USDM 5 speed ratios, then 9000 RPM in 4th gear on stock-sized tires will happen at "only" about 146 mph (~233 kph).

Lars, sorry for all the negative coments you are getting about the car and your work. the RS version really are light straight out the factory! thinner glass, no ABS, no AC....basically only the stuff thats needed to turn the car into a group N rally car!!
also they dont ahev the VERY good, if weak, AYC rear end. so its the same superstrong back diff that the US gusy get.
Lars, was that on an engine dyno or a chasis dyno?? just intrested to see how your figures compear to what the US guys are getting.
Chris.

If you want to drop some more weight there is.....
Remove front and rear crash beams and get carbon doors front and back from Seibon and also the trunk. Should take a good amount of weight out. As if its not insane as it is.. this would just finish off the theme of extreme dieting.

The shifter if from Japan from a firm name Ikeya and its a Sequential Shifter (5 Speed Transmission Only).
I have a Drench Dogbox in my car and I don´t have to use clutch between gearshift because I have made a special gearknob whit ignition cut-off in 1/10 of a second....
Regards
