Great clutch no doubt, just not feeling the street "life expectancy" of it. Everybody I talk to say they last ~10k miles of abuse*. Not the best for a DD IMHO.

i think with this clutch the main question is what is the life expectency at the track.
Mine went all last season with 250+runs at the track and probably 250+ launches on the street

actually kunal... saying a clutch only has 10k before it goes is not the smartest... we know MANY people with over 20k miles on this clutch with no problems, and we know people with 2k miles and need a rebuild... its the driver and not the clutch

I just sold my Carbonetics Tripple Carbon and have been looking into the Quartermaster, PTT "same as Quartermaster" and Tilton. The main reason i sold the Carbonetics was becouse of the weight. Does anybody know how much the QM weighs?
Thanks

I got around 10,000 miles out of one, but thats with 7 drag racing events, 5 test and tunes, and countless pounding on the street at the minimum tune of 600 awhp and a maximum of 700+ awhp. Bang per buck you can't beat a QM / Devo Tuning clutch.

Few questions for you then... How many miles did you get out of your stock clutch? How's pedal pressure/feel with the QM, is it as soft or softer than stock like the tiltons, or is it still a little heavier? How does the car free rev?
I have 47K on the stock clutch with probably over 200 launches at the track/street and a few 1.6 60fts at 30K so i'm just trying to make sure that this thing will last at least as long as the stocker... Material wear is material wear and i figure if i made the stock organic last this long then i better get some good mileage out of a clutch with a more durable friction surface.
