Since Day 1 with less then 10 miles.. what I've come to learn is the evo is a bit rawer then conventional cars.. normal sounds make it into the cabin that wouldn't be heard in other vehicles

That's friggin hilarious,
Today I was wondering the exact same thing
Had to have the a/c on it was 100 DEGREES(for my wife anyway LOL)
were I live. I am not ready for this shizzle yet.
Anywho, I am just glad this is normal, I was getting a little paranoid
Ever since I got the evo I get new noises
I am pretty much used to them now. well besides this one

back up,
Im experiencing what i believe is the same noise.
AC on, louder. clutch pedal in, goes away. only gets loud when car warms up.
I have 272's in so its lopey, and everytime it lopes over im makes the "loose geartooth tolerance" clatter noise, almost sounds like spun bearings(though i know it is not).
does anyone have any video or audio examples of what we are all talking about?
I feel like it is overly loud. At what point is it time to replace the release bearing? I have paperwork from previous owner showing oem clutch and release bearing replacement roughly 20K ago.
Im one day away from calling the kid i purchased the car from, driving my *** back down to atlanta, and threatening him to give my money back.

You said he replaced the clutch and the throw out bearing but didn't mention the pressure plate. I mean, it would be stupid not to replace along with the others but then again there's a lot of stupid people out there!! and I notice you said stock, I've heard doesn't sell clutch kits, just the throw out and clutch disc. Could be the flywheel was bad and should have replaced it and now it's causing problems???
