The last chart compares it to the HTA 30R. Isn't that like a 52 lb turbo? The recently tested HTA 3076 is 57 lbs. Wouldn't that be a better comparison?
edit: I'm assuming that it's not the 3076hta in the comparison, I could be wrong, but stats listed on the FP site show different numbers. I'll check the psi that DB used. The NON hta was 52lbs, pre-hta. Sorry about that. Still looking for psi on previous test.

"Just found the graphs at 22 psi and 31.5 psi for the HTA3076:
The first few runs were done at only 22 psi to see what kind of power it would make at low boost levels. This is exceptional power from a "smaller" turbo at 22 psi. 484 whp and 370 ft lbs is more than I could possibly make at this boost level from a stock turbo or green.
I then flipped the switch on the dual stage controller to bring the boost up to 31.50 psi. "
The power went up to 504 whp and 462 ft lbs. The power curve is better with this HTA3076 turbo than the 3065, which is a very popular turbo.
EDITED AGAIN: Just found the post showing DB's was made on C16, NOT pump 93. That means that power difference is mostly in timing and AFR, since the boost is reasonably close on high boost run.

again this is being done on STOCK BLOCK pump 93 stock ecu... i know david runs aem... he has complimented our stock ecu power, and did so on this car today...
again, COMPLETELY different builds, just food for thought..
but the HTA is the 3076R with .82 and is from BR on the tubular manifold...
i may do a back to back on the same car with the HTA 30R and our setup, and HTA 35R and a stage 4 58 lbs min...
cheers

Dude with your 2.3 and the slightly bigger version of Faust turbo would be crazy man. Its the one that got put on Jeraimes car. I think that would be a awesome street set up. 2.3 with the 58 lbs wheel

360-210-7484...or get me on MSN
Chad, completely sano work as usual. That is definitely a thing of beauty. Maybe I should take a working vacation and come out .

I would probably buy one of the hybrids if it clearly spooled faster than an HTA3076 w .63 a/r and made the same or more power on pump gas - and didn't surge!
