I would check into the CBRD radiator as well. With a IX turbo and the factory fanshroud, my Koyo is a pretty tight fit.

I like my Koyo....really I'd say they're about the same though unless one holds more coolant than the other.

Both are reasonable but the KOYO is cheaper, however fitment issues with larger turbo upgrades may hinder later. Also Mushimoto (SP) makes a less costly option with plastic tanks. Or if you go baller, CBRD.

DTM also has a nice unit designed around a Griffin core. I'm not sure if they've posted about it on here or not. It's thin, lots of clearance, and it moves the upper hose in line with the thermostat housing so the hose is straight and away from the heat of turbo manifold. It's a nice unit that's definitely worth a look if you are considering the CBRD and other aftermarket alternatives.

+1

The CBRD piece is VERY nice. We actually just started offering these as well for those who want an upgraded radiator but can not run a real thick one due to larger upgraded turbo's. While being an upgrade it is also thinner so it will save on some weight as well.

Not to mention it puts the inlet directly straight across from the thermostat housing so it clean up the engine bay some too.

Very high quality part.

I give it

Nick post some pics regardless if he is interested. I want to see it, plus I want to have an idea of how much it costs. Or just make a new thread about it since this one is about the Koyo/PWR radiator.

thanks for the compliments jrod...

we feel we have the nicest radiator if you want a slimline fan and are concerned about clearance...

but, we arent the cheapest.
