With that said what is on my car now is the Driven Innovations intake manifold with the 3" Hypertune throttle body.
Did you have change anything on the DI intake manifold to get the Hypertune Throttle Body to work? Im guessing since you are running the Hypertune TB there is a reason for it so i just want to see how much work is going to be involved.
Thanks

Great results and a great start David and Jim!! As you said, this is only the beginning and have another 6 versions to try. I can't wait to see what happens as I'm sure I'll be taking my manifold to Indianapolis....its only a 2 hour drive and I want to meet the man, the myth, the legend!!

It's great to get people with high-level professional racing knowledge working on street cars. Congrats to Jim for bringing that to the Evo community.
Honestly, that's why I teamed up with Aby, because he has a similar racing pedigree to Jim (INDY/CART/IMSA, although I think Jim's is a smidge longer ).
I am excited to see what else Jim helps Buschur bring to the table. Raising the bar is a good thing
And I definitely wouldn't post pictures of the work, Dave. IP is something you have to protect. There are definitely people here who will copy others work (don't ask me how I know).

Good stuff! I put on my standard ported IM a few months back and still love it, but have been jealous that there was something 'around the corner' with all the intake mani testing, like buying a new computer the day before the next model comes out, similar pricing. Well I have no regrets now, because if the inside of this modified stock mani is that extensive, and the price is in the $500+ range, then the $75 ported stocker is STILL GREAT BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, and it's what I'll be keeping on my car
This thread and this info is insanely cool, but for 'the rest of us' I feel extremely happy with my standard ported stocker!
DB, I've asked several times, but is there any chance you would throw on one of your standard ported IM's and get a comparison between it and these? If the standard stocker+ported TB is +15whp over stock setup, and going 3"TB on the DI mani is worth an extra 15whp, what are we talking total gains here, 40whp+ up top?
