I would like to see the dynopapers

I'm runnin about 360-380bhp @ the crank. What should I have?
Stock intercooler, CXracing or BYC?

I dont want a IC that get bent "fins" of bugs, like a old one I had :/
And I think that CXracing is a IC like that, but how about BYC?

Recieved the intercooler today. It's good quality and looks nice. Came with all the hardware to install in the same places as stock. Here are some comparison pics of the stock intercooler I took out and the BYC racing intercooler.

I will do a fitment trial tommorrow and post pics. After that I will dyno my car on the new setup and post numbers, but that won't be for another month.

Evo9tunerz, thank you very much for posting the pictures and updating the thread. I really appreciated your efforts.
I am looking forward to your trial fitment tomorrow as well as the dyno run.
Oh, once you have it installed don't forget to give us a review before you even dyno it, see if you can feel better throttle response as well as better breathing on the high rpm, thanks!

I will be installing new intercooler pipes, intake and ported intake manifold and throttle body. I think it'll be hard to tell, but my tune on E85 will make multiple dyno runs and it will show if there's heat soak.

You're friend didn't design that intercooler at all. That is the infamous ebay intercooler that is sold out if Hangzhou China. The inlet and outlet do not properly align up with the factory couplers. If you want this intercooler to work properly you either have to make new pipes leading to it or cut the inlet inlet/outlet tubes off and install new ones.
I've had a few ppl bring that cooler to me to install. I will not even try to install them anymore unless they are willing to pay for the labor to rework the tubes to get it to fit correctly.

Here is one of may exporters.

evo8emup, there are two different ebay IC, one vendor is "just-intercooler" and another one is "mazdaspeed" whom sells the BYC brand.

I asked few people, yes, the first one had problems with factory coupler, and the BYC one people didn't have problem with it.

evo9tunerz, did you try to installed it? b/c I heard there are problems with couplers don't line up with these ebay IC. But as far as the BYC one goes, I asked, not one had fitment issue, just want you to confirm it.

Unless they gave you new piping and/or couplers, that thing will not fit properly using the factory couplers.
^^
You can really tell from this angle that the tube connectors are off by several degrees.
