^^I can't speak for the evos with the fp4r cams, but I ran these last year in my 92 eagle talon. I was able to run a best last season of 9.11 @159mph.
Previous cams I ran before the fp4r's were HKS 272's.
HKS 272's = 9.40's @155-156mph @38lbs with 100shot
FP 4r's = 9.11 @159mph @38lbs with 100shot
The biggest difference between the 2 cams were the fp4r's spooled my gt4202 turbo damn near 1000rpm sooner. The mid range is absolutely incredible with the fp4's. You definitely need a set of healthy springs to run these cams and FP can supply them as well. I was spinning the fp4r's to 10krpm with the kiggly behive springs. The power band was awesome on these, it would hit hard at 6k and pull like a raped ape to 10k without a hickup.
The idle was very nice, it was lumpy for sure, but nothing more then 280's would lope.
Since then I have stepped it up this season I am running the Fp 5r intake and FP 11 exhaust. I can tell you, the car sounds like a damn alcohol burning muscle car with the new cams this season. The power band is soooooo wide with either the 4r's or the 5r with the fp 11 exhaust cam.
Here is an idle video clip of the FP5r intake and FP11 exhaust. I can't seem to find a idle video clip of the 4r's. I will look around my videos from last year and see.
