I am freaking ecstatic today. I was grinning the whole way home….which was a 3 hour drive. On my drive home today, I filled up with Sunoco 94. I have about 140 miles on the tank and I’m sitting at 3/4 of a tank still. Unreal gas mileage!!
That's like 40mpg...are you serious? That is unreal.

Times like this make me want to keep my car and not get a X . Good job guys . Bushur, you think the X will eventually run like the 8's and 9's some day?

The question about the EVO X. Not sure if the EVOX is going to be as good a performer as the EVO 8-9's. It is still very early to say. The EVO8-9 is more of a race car for sure in my opinion.

You would have had to pry me out of the seat if I was to drive it. David builds some bad stuff. You just don't see 10 second cars drive from Ohio to Indy and back every day, hell there were cars that were located closer to the track that had to be trailered that do not run as hard as yours...thanks you too, dinners with the Ohio gang will be remembered for a long time...no problem for the brick, thanks for making the trip. Jim

is it an AEM thing because how the hell are you managing that kinda gas mileage? because even if I stay out of boost and on the high way i will not even crack near 30mpg...i have seen and heard about people with turbo upgrades/aem achieve these fuel sipping numbers.

2 things- A very good part throttle tune and that whole motor flows very easily.

Steve's BR350 #001 car got 29.4 mpg just as he bought it from Medina on our way back from the Mod Day event in Illinois.

Getting good fuel mileage means getting the air in and out of the engine easily, having the timing dialed in at part throttle and setting up the AFR's.

The factory cannot run the car as lean and get away with it as "we" can because of emmision standards.
