4G64 Crank - Which Mitsu did it come in?

I need to order a 4G64 crank for stroker build. Which Stock Mitsubishi year and model did they come in? I've only ever seen the 4G64 reference.

I've looked through a bunch of stroker threads and never found an answer.

2.4 liter 4g64 7-bolt block/crank found in 90's Mitsu Galants and others listed above. 2.4 liter 6-bolt G4CS block/crank are in alot of late 80's and early 90 model Hundai Sonata's. Both are very similar to the 2.0 4g63 block/crank with differences being a 6mm taller deck height and a roughly 80mm larger bore as well as the longer stroke crank. You should be able to find a 90's Galant block with a good crank for cheap, I bought mine a few years ago (block+crank) and had it shipped from a salvage yard in Texas for $400.

Thanks for the replies, I really don't know my old school Mitsubishi...

So which part are most guys using to build their stroker kits, 6 or 7 bolt? What's the difference between the CSMI24 and CSMI24L?

The standard Evo crank is a 7 bolt. If you want to use parts that are designed for the Evo, such as a flywheel or dual disk clutch combination, you'll be looking for the 7 bolt.

Six bolt cranks are used in 1G DSM six bolt blocks, and the 4g64 2.4 stroker blocks of that era.
